We have need to add additional moderator help for a very long time now. After searching high and low we have decided to bring our good friend /u/walter499 into the fold.
Walter is very knowledgeable in many areas that will serve this community well and he promises to bring a fresh perspective to the many tasks we do here, plus he said he'd do all of our grunt work for free so we can party more.
Also, the mandatory coke and hookers for the yearly /d/darknetmarkets meetup is going to be supplied by walter so you know it's gonna be a big time this year (if you haven't gotten you invite yet just message him).
All kidding aside, /u/walter499 is a great asset to the entire dread community and I want to thank him personally for accepting this challenge. We have some very exiting things planned on the harm reduction front, which walter will be key to.
Let's all welcome him into the family!

Thanks! As always, i just do my best to help out, mod or no mod for the subs I haunt, which is a fairly short list, lol. So... business as usual for me :) Do i get to hire an intern to read through the 10000 mails i will be getting asking for that party invite? :D
Also, i offer my sincerest apologies for all those who sub to the DNM family of subs... i hope your eye-care and prescriptions are up to date, because those soon to be incoming walls of text can be straining! :)

Was that a test of my DNM family skills? i had to go to the alt-subs lists to find it was /d/THEmunchies :D
and /u/samwhiskey ... i crossposts are disabled and i didnt want to go abuseing my authority on day one... ill at least wait for tomorrow for that, lol... but for those inclined, /d/music and /d/themunchies have new content.

Passed your first test (obviously I didn't screw up haha). Crossposting is kind of a bitch because you do have to enable, crosspost, then disable. Would be a good new feature that mods can crosspost even when disabled.
