Be prepared that it's a long journey, you may wish to learn some programming on the side, to get a bit of understanding. Learn about different technologies, how they work. Watch some videos. You may also wish to look at some CTF challenges.
It also depends what exactly is it you want to hack. Maybe you wish to hack people? Maybe you wish to reverse engineer software? Maybe you wish to hack/clone RFID chips? Spy for packets on public wifi?
Generally it's knowledge on top of knowledge. Just make sure you have fun. It's also mostly patience and lots of stuff may be very boring, trial and error, but the reward if you solve the problem or get through is often nice feeling.
