I FE'd early in good faith on a small order ($160!!) and i received a small USPS package that had a hole in it, was resealed and contained only a power cable for a laptop or something. I know i fucked up by FE'ing, but im still confused as to why would /u/prettypacks do this? I'm pretty sure I just got scammed.
fucking sucks. maybe they can respond over here as to what happened? it seems to be an insane coincidence that the one time i finalize early they decide to not send me anything.

is this a thing that happens? what recourse do i have? again I FE'd early out of faith so i fucked up. it would be very unfortunate and a huge coincidence if a post worker stole my pack the first time I FE with someone.

Prettypacks didnt scam you. He would scam me and much bigger whales first before he scammed your $160 order. If this post is serious, which I don't think it is, take out the parts where you suspect an OG vendor took your $160. Now theres the possibility that you got scammed by someone who tricked you into thinking they were prettypacks, I find that totally plausible. (its happened to me, with stickykitty imposter)

hey i also think that its a bit bonkers that a top tier vendor would scam me. was just crazy to me that the one time i FE early, the pack is tampered with. sucks because i have 0 recourse. i purchased from prettypacks before and it was so good i had to order again (for my own personal smoke). hence the finalizing early. so as you could imagine this whole scenario comes to me as a smack in the face. i don't mean to falsely accuse pretty packs and i will let you guys know the updated situation.

I've had nothing but pleasant exposure to pretty packs personally.
We've ordered from them a number of times.
This could be fabricated? Or maybe just usps stealing and replacing the weight.

i had a great experience with them my first time as well. I don't think there's anything I can say or do to prove this happened but i suggest erring on the side of caution when interacting with PP assuming he decided to selectively scam.
Im thinking it was the FE early? it was a relatively small order this time so i am genuinely confused as to why he would even care about scamming me over this. i give some benefit of the doubt but still slightly rattled from this experience with /u/prettypacks

Edit: I mean, if they're x-raying the packages, it wouldn't be out of the realm of question of USPS stealing what obviously looks like vape carts or bud.

This is very odd, Isn't Prettypacks a pretty organized operation? Why would they scam for a lousy $160? I would suspect a dirty mail man honestly. But then again why would a mail man bother with stealing weed? This is very odd and I am interested in the outcome. Update us please.

yeah the whole situation is really bizzarre and i havent experienced anything like this. the box wasn't opened normally either, there was a hole in the side of it and the box was wrapped in clear plastic. not sure if the mailman would care and do such an elaborate cover up job. maybe so? but i mean the finalizing early and not receiving a product made me put two and two together and assume prettypacks just scammed me.
but like you say this doesn't really make sense and isn't worth it for prettypacks to do in the first place.

Probably a postal worker who got wise to the pack. We used to be able to ship LB's out of BC but the postal workers got wise. Never once did they call the fuzz, the packs just go missing and there is zero recourse.
I am pretty sure scamming you for 160 is not in the cards for this big vendor. Reputation is everything in this game. Sucks to hear it man.

makes sense. totally bummed because it's my personal stash, just wanted some wax lol.
and yeah it seems like i have no recourse atm because i FE'd out of good faith due to how good it was the first time i ordered. basically my order is at the mercy of pretty packs if they decide to re ship.
