Was using the xmrwallet.com and saved the seeds and necessary info.
Was a regular user, i convert ฿ using a third party app and send it to my XMR wallet
Usually use to transfer only small amounts like below £100, it became the best thing. One day i initiated an huge amount and while it was getting confirmation, i took a nap.Period
Next i check the screen, someone stole the whole amount; seeing the transaction history i can see once it got confirmed & someone somehow withdrew all my money.
It was one of my biggest failure towards the path of success.
Tried reaching out with the company that does the swap and was clearly told the money was successfully confirmed, just like how it looked in txn history.
This incident gave me the 'butter Fly effect' scenario; and with regards to the "doors of perception" i was in hell.
Any one else got their Monero stolen?

Sounds like either someone has your wallet seed or you have a virus on your computer that allowing someone to view/edit/control your pc.
Strange could be a huge breach in their systems also but who knows I guess?

Surely, it was an Op-Sec which should NOT be followed, due to circumstances, or desperation had to follow the worst protocol.
For what it's worth i can only accept that my system was naive which was taken advantage as in a form of a Virus/Malware/Spyware etc.
Thank you for your time, mostly.

Condolences accepted...LoL
This was a few years back, at that point the XMR wallets were not in surplus but this online wallet was very simple to-use which attracted me.
My suspect is a MITM attack.

As you can see in the post this had a incredible change of destiny in my life, hence said Butterfly effect.
If that investment went across i would be in a better place, no doubts abt that! ☮
AND, primarily i lost a lot of money.
Maybe in the distant future i will avoid thinking about this then it will not make sense talking about the past.(rambling)
On a serious note just wanted to know of any similar experiences, while exploring the crypto world.

You should use linux mint
Window computer operating system is like trusting the local prostitute who is teaming with diseases and prefers johns who wear no condom.
I do not use windows

Linux Mint is not necessarily more secure or less vulnerable to hacking than Windows. In fact, in some ways it is less secure.
Use Qubes.

Well I have been using Linux for 15 years and never lost any data via virus or being hacked!
This is the basis of what I am drawing my opinion.
When I use to use windows, I generally was hacked or infected with a virus at least 2 or more times a year which often resulted in me having to completely wipe my computer hard drive and lose a ton of data.
Compared to windows, I appreciate that my computer does not auto update files without my permission.
I could go on and on ...but I avoid windows.
I find it fascinating that someone would actually defend windows as a secure operating system.
I will investigate Qubes...thank you

This is known as "security by obscurity" and it does not work.
More often than not, this is user error, especially in 2023. You are unlikely to be infected with malware without downloading and opening it yourself due to some trick.
What do you mean? In a sense, automatic updates can be a good thing to patch security issues quickly.
We avoid Windows too. We have not defended it nor said that it is secure. But don't use Linux with a false sense of security thinking that you are less vulnerable just because you are using it when in some respects the opposite is true. When it comes to something like stealing cryptocurrency in a targeted manner a threat actor will not be deterred by Linux.
Do it! If you have any questions feel free to PM us.
