how long does one wait before cancelling an order that wasnt accepted?

by /u/InsertCleverNameHere · 1 votes · 2 months ago

ive been waiting for a vendor to accept my order. its only been roughly 24hrs, so im not too stressed. ive dealt with the vendor before on AB, but since they now suck, ive been looking at other markets and im currently trying vice city.

but i digress.

how long do people usually wait before they give up on that order? 4 days? 9 days? is it consodered "bad form" to cancel an order? ill give it a few more days, this is just informational

thank you and stay safe

Every vendor handles it differently, some accept immediately, some go down the list and accept and package orders one by one, some are waiting on a supply expected in the next day and want to confirm that arrives before accepting orders, etc.

After 3 days though they should be either processing it, cancelling it, or reaching out about it, imo.

Mate, if you don't want to do biz with the vendor, just cancel the order and get your coin back. Simple as that, really. Gives you more time to find a vendor you'll like.

It absolutely differ from vend to vend. Almost all markets you can set to auto cancle order after a period of time you selected. If you are regular active on market then you can do it manually too. If both vendor and buyer not online the market directly will auto cancel at decide time. Try texting vendor befor anything...
