Just wondering for you those of you who use mules, how many of yours get arrested/in trouble? Curious as to why people risk it. Is it THAT dangerous or?

It obviously depends on the amount of money involved, but generally there isn't much investigation into the person. If money is deposited into accounts in their name they will end up being put on different lists like chexsystem, ers. So that will blacklist them from getting future bank accounts. Some banks could close other accounts they already have if they monitor those lists.

Most mules don't know they'll be blacklisted. Some know and still do it because of the amount of money they'll make.
