i use tor on windows...

by /u/banyansal · 3 votes · 1 week ago

hear me out hear me out..

where im located, i cant access tor wit out vpn.

tails is useless, cuz i cant get vpn to tails (connectin to bridges dont work, ive tried) dont know how to use whonix/linux. and apparently cant use vpn on them as well.

so i got a 2nd hand laptop. wiped the hard drive. use a vpn on it, (done my research on the vpn).

i never put anything personal into the laptop. i use tor, and sometimes brave browser (heard its safe) to access clearnet. (not sure if thats okay). use cccleaner.

can someone tell me if i use windows this way, is it safe? what else can i do for extra layers of security

should i wipe the harddrive once in a while?

should i switch my vpn location once in a while?

Using windows for dn is never safe, better some linux, a lot of options easy to install and use.

Ofc if you just order small amounts of drugs nobody cares.

Download virtual box with whonix. You can do it on windows with vpn no problem.

You got a couple incorrect mate,

You can use a VPN with Tails, if you have a VPN configured router, Linksys is an example.

You can use a VPN with Whonix, if enabled on your host OS.

Download Linux Mint, very simple transition from Windows.

I see. Where I am it's almost impossible to get a VPN configured router lol, or configure my own router. i was wondering if its possible though to download vpn from a usb when using tails?

Is Linux mint also an option that i can use vpn on?
