If I'm messaging a vendor for the first time, do I need to put my public key in the encrypted message?

So, I find a vendor, encrypt a message with his public key.

The message would basically consist of "blah blah blah, my questions and things I want to say to him, then at the end I copy paste my public key". so he could send me a message encrypted with my key.

Yes without your public key the vendor wouldnt be able to encrypt a message for you.
