it's invidious, you can download any youtube video from it, no js.

i checked it out but it is the same thing as youtube the exact same content. why won't I just watch youtube insted. I am searching for a video streaming website(not porn or gore) exclusive on dark web. Like there is dread for dark net, it is similar to reddit but not has exact same content as reddit does.

actually there are channels about dark net on youtube. dn people hate to enable js, js is required for video streaming, so that's not something for the dark net

So, I loaded an invidious instance, clicked on the video, and the <media> popped up. I assume that allows JS on that page for that specific element so the video can play ? Could someone please explain this to me ? I've never attempted to watch a video via TOR. I probably never plan to watch a video via TOR, but it would be nice to know what happens when someone foolishly clicks on a link for video. I assume that simple click could unleash an endless supply of malware, possibly one that could de-anonymize you ?
