Trees are some of the most important plants on the planet and humanity’s very existence depends on their continued well-being. Trees not only provide us with lumber, nuts, and fruits, but they also produce oxygen for us to breathe, homes for birds and other animals, and help to absorb excess CO2 from the atmosphere. They do so much for us that the least we can do is to create a holiday where they can be appreciated. Luckily, there is such a holiday and it falls on May 16th every year. This holiday is called National Love A Tree Day and it’s a day we encourage everyone to observe.

Although we listed quite a few reasons why we should celebrate National Love A Tree Day, the ones that we provided was only the tip of the proverbial iceberg, so we decided to list some more of them below.

Observing National Love A Tree Day
