Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know there's newer active mods here:

We'll keep this place clean of bullshit and scammers. I went through all the posts and removed an absurd amount of crap so hopefully most of it is gone. I encourage the commnuity to report posts that violate the rules here to keep everyone safe and topics on point.

Please check out the new "Rules" and our call out for more quality tutorials and guides for /d/Laundromat

Looking forward to being part of the community and increasing the quality of posts here.

Awesome job /u/Funshine! One thing I'm thinking we need is a good tutorial about how to find the right lawyer incase the worst happens...Anyone that has legal experience in this dept it would be greatly apprieciated if you could post a tutorial for us on what to look for when hiring a lawyer, I think good advice in this will benefit this sub greatly! Thanks in advance guys!

just now saw this and i am probably really late and really stupid sounding but honestly the best way is to look at two things, who charges the most because in the lawyer department 99% of the time you get what you pay for and secondly just do your research its actually really easy to find the lawyers that defend people that are clear as day criminals but they just aren't arrested for lack of evidence and bam almost always linked to them is a master criminal defense attorney but finding an attorney is something you want to do before something happens because once your arrested 9 times out of 10 it will be too late

You were a mod here but let the scam central posts stay here for a year along with all the other garbage?

Better to PM /u/ShakyBeats then to air your concerns out in the open.

Already been discussed. You guys are doing a great job.

I respect you and pelican for all the hardwork you guys put in in the past but the answer is no. The sub was a mess. I was getting messages asking to clean it up at least once a week. The mod logs had nothing in it for over 2+ months before I even did the election a month ago. You were all given over a week to respond to my message in modmail. Over 5 pages of shit had to be deleted. So in fairness for everyone it is time to give a new team a chance with it. If it doesn't work out with them then new people will be picked for it. You're more than welcome to try then, or if you two want you can make your own new sub.

Covid = Vacation. The point was to only filter the scammers hence the lack of rules. Half the shit heads from fraud come over here and can't post within rules. So instead it was meant to be a free for all of conversation and just filtering out those trying to scam. But yes I was gone for some time so why would you give away my sub? They can make their own sub if they want to build a community about laundering so be it but why do they get to take over what was built among a few mods Capitalist and I built this and grew it to 3k+ members.

This is a general purpose sub. It doesn't belong to any one person. Just like if all the mods stopped being active on /d/Darknetmarkets or /d/fraud we would be forced to step in. Like I said in my DM, I don't expect mods to login every single day, but if no mods can login for months at a time it's time to change up the sub.

Pelican is free to contribute and help others, just like anyone on this sub. No one is stopping him from helping. If anything not being a mod on here should give him more time to help if he wants to. The new mods are doing a very good job at keeping this sub cleaned up for everyone to use.

I mean it did Capitalist made it and I helped him grow it for the past 3 years... So to say no one owns it is false

I have been pretty active in this forum prior to some stuff I had to take care of. Perhaps I am able to mod too?
