Opinion about Kodachi

by /u/Corinias · 1 votes · 5 days ago

I was thinking of upgrading my OS, and trying Kodachi. After some searching both here and on OpenW and I come to a conclusion, not much is said about this OS. I know it's based on a 5.4.0 Kernel (which in 2025) will no longer have security updates, I know it's a one-man operation. Opinions in terms of whether it is reliable and safe (the few) are not unanimous.

Anyone use, or have an opinion about Kodachi???

Search "Kodachi" in this subdread "OpSec".

You will see that most of the comments indicate that it is bloated.

Parrot OS Security Edition would be a better substitute.
