The U.S. Department of Justice announced the indictment of the Russian Denis Gennadievich Kulkov who is suspected of runnining a credit card checking operation that generated millions.
Kulkov is believed to be the creator of the Try2Check service, created in 2005. He made roughly 18 billion dollars in BTC.
Try2Check was used by those who delt with bulk purchase and the sale of credit card numbers, it was used to check what percentage of cards were valid.
It also victimized a US payment processor as it exploited their system in order to check the cards.
Try2Check was shut down last Wednesday following a joint operation between the US, Germany and Austria.
"Over a nine-month period in 2018, the site performed at least 16 million checks".
The US is continuously searching for information, if found guilty Kulkov faces 20 years, however he is currently in Russia.

What compelled him to keep going all the way to $18 billion? Can't be touch him in Russia? If he goes to jail he deserves it for the greed.
