[WARNING] Narco710 Arrested - Health risk: Oxys contained FENTANYL - Buyers clean house! (Pinned post)

by /u/HugBunter A · 25 votes · 4 months ago

https://www.justice.gov/usao-cdca/pr/fentanyl-crisis-continues-take-lives-federal-law-enforcement-responds-multi-faceted

After being seemingly MIA for around a month, with no responses/login activity on Dread, including no response to my messages. It has been announced Narco710 was arrested on November 2nd and that he is alleged to have "obtained bulk fentanyl".

Hampton – who was active on at least nine darknet marketplaces, where he typically used the moniker “Narco710” – was arrested on November 2, at which time agents with the FBI, DEA, HSI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with U.S. Postal Inspectors, executed search warrants. Those searches led to the discovery and seizure of 450 pounds of suspected narcotics; six pill press machines, some of which were capable of producing thousands of pills per hour; and illegal firearms that included assault rifles and a suspected machine gun. Agents also recovered from Hampton’s residence more than 20,000 multi-colored pills containing fentanyl – so-called “skittles” manufactured to resemble oxycodone pills.

Serious health warning to all buyers

Any buyers who have purchased pills from Narco, should assume they may contain fentanyl and at the very least should test them.

[strong]All buyers should clean house and expect a knock on the door. There is nothing right now that I can see, which confirms his data is compromised, however it is best to consider this as a possibility. Even if they don't have access now, they still may in the near future.[/strong]

It is worth noting that his Dread account has had no activity since even the weeks prior to his bust. So this is not an effective way of determining if LE has access, I'd appreciate if anyone can chime in on which markets he was active on, his latest activity there and ensure that these markets are contacted to disable his accounts immediately. I have disabled his Dread account.

Stay safe!

Is it not common knowledge that most of the m30s are fent?

/u/HugBunter A OP · 3 votes · 4 months ago · Link

How would I know?

/u/waltcranston · 2 votes · 4 months ago · Link

I wasn't asking you specifically. It was rhetorical. A statement wrapped in a question. A lil ponder. The meaning of life?

/u/HugBunter A OP · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

Fair enough, it felt directed at me, but I have absolutely zero knowledge when it comes to hard drugs. I don't even know many vendor names really, just ones who I've had direct contact with, you being one of them!

/u/Vendors_Little_Helper · 4 votes · 4 months ago · Link

Nearly all Oxycodone containing pharma tablets are counterfeited by pill mills with fentanyl or fentanyl analogues. Oxycodone itself is expensive and hard to get in 2022, like $1/mg with tablets containing up to 80 mg. That's $80 per tablet. Fentanyl from the cartels is uber cheap and abundant. This is why any vendor with bulk and/or cheap Oxy tablets is sure to be selling fent pills. Bulk Oxy tablets with real oxycodone inside is impossible to get. 100% impossible! All bulk suppliers are selling fent. Nitazenes are increasingly showing up as well as or in place of fent, but I don't think they'll replace fent unless there is a major hit to the ability of the cartels to supply fentanyl which is pretty unlikely forevermore.

Proof:

drugsdata dot org/results.php?search_field=name&s=perc

For the last several years, almost all of the Adderall and generic look-a-like tablets are pressed by pill mills with methamphetamine. Real pharma Adderall contains dextro- and d,l-amphetamine salts, not methamphetamine, but amphetamine powder is virtually unavailable in the US while Mexican cartel methamphetamine is cheap and abundant. The public thinks of Adderall as an ADHD medication/study drug and most would not knowingly buy meth. Adderall prices are high, so pressing fake tablets with cheap meth inside is highly profitable and here to stay.

drugsdata dot org/results.php?search_field=name&s=Adderall

His location plus the allegation that he was pressing Adderall with meth and Oxy's with fentanyl tells us that he was being supplied by people affiliated with the Sinaloa Cartel since they would be the ultimate supplier of those two drugs for anyone in that area.

The DEA case agent began investigating the individual behind the massive pill-making operation in Inglewood, California, when U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted a die-cast piece being shipped to Los Angeles from abroad. This particular piece was created to print pressed pills with the same markings as the brand-name drug Adderall.

The pill presses and parts are legal to own, the DEA special agent said, but they're illegal to use for drug-trafficking purposes. This suspect had die pieces for a number of brand name drugs, nearly 50 in total.

“He could change up the press so it could mark them as Adderall or Xanax or with anything a legitimate drug might have,” the case agent said.

As she investigated the person who ordered that die piece, she learned that FBI Special Agent Kostic was pursuing the same individual, whom the FBI team had identified as a major online drug dealer, selling on both darknet and clearnet sites.

—FBI.gov

In addition, today cheap and bulk Xanax bars are usually pressed with an RC benzodiazepine analogue as the active ingredient due to extremely limited availability of alprazolam powder resulting from restrictions in China, the primary country of production for all benzo APIs and RCs.

Yeah not everyone is in the US...thankfully.......what a nightmare it looks like from abroad.

Not that there aren't serious problems across the world, but, damn. the US opioid scene reinvented the idea of FUBAR. lol

Fascinating that they caught his ass because they intercepted a press cast in transit. Makes me really not want to become a vendor given the surveillance state we live in. Narco vended on the clearnet as well???

/u/duckduckcop · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

> Makes me really not want to become a vendor given the surveillance state we live in.

I mean, yeah. But also, I know there's parallel construction going on, but damn if a lot of the vendors aren't doing just absolutely reckless shit that they then point to after they get caught. Pitch black trash bags full of packs at the post office? Press casts shipped to their drops? Getting arrested for vending, being on bail, then continuing to vend for four years before getting snatched up again?

JFC...people are really just so reckless and DGAF lol. Every vendor seems to be low hanging fruit.

/u/Bookedouxxx · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

That is wonderful!

/u/duckduckcop · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

It is.

There are also more than enough people who do not understand this open secret, who use these forums and markets in this community and others.

There are also many people who get these products listed in these places, who are not in the online space. Some understand these are cheap knockoffs...and some are like, teenagers, or inexperienced, don't use test kits, or are otherwise vulnerable and not understanding of what they are getting.

This is a conversation which I think needs to be had here, and elsewhere, because the posture has consequences which are not being fully discussed and have huge consequences.

I'd honestly say, this whole situation is similar to Israel's posture around their possession of nuclear weapons. They have them, and this has been firmly established, but it is technically not admitted to and was for years actually, a closely guarded secret. But then there was a leak/espionage which revealed this fact, and now it is still not admitted to, even though it is known by every country in the world that Israel absolutely possesses dozens of nuclear weapons ready to deploy at any moment.

Here's the thing. Fentanyl and all opioid analogues to a lesser extent, is attracting a HUGE amount of attention from LE in the United States and it's allies (Europe, OECD in general). So is association with Russia, actually, and other arbitrary shit (like cannabis, especially eight years ago...weird country, that one). But that's another matter.

So, people write terms of service on the DNMs, which kind of exclude trade in Fentanyl and even synthetic opioids in general. But, there's an assload of money to be made! And the fact is, prohibition is against the whole vibe of the DNM scene. Furthermore, opioids are WHO essential medicines, and we are in a time of unprecedented chronic illness, paired with reduction in the treatment of chronic pain and its associated diseases, and ironically unprecedented diagnosis of these conditions. Plus, it's easy to trade synthetic opioid pills and powders on DNMs, so long as you take minimally taxing efforts to disguise what you're doing with some vague unscientific street terminology.

I think what we need, in order to approach this problem in a less foolish and more coherent way, is for markets/decentralized next gen market"places", to make a policy of requiring scientifically labelled products. That means, no more "heroin" listings. No more random strain names on cannabis listings. None of that type of shit. Additionally, there should be standardized requirements for labeling of products. I'm saying, only stuff that is GC/MS verified by a third party which is vetted and trusted independently via Dread, etc). Then, let people sell what they want, except pills which are obvious knockoofs (should be distinct from any other type of pill, pharmaceutical or pressed), and with it being correctly labelled on the site listing; no more of these unenforced bans, no more vague listings, no more pressed pills that dangerously imitate other substances and which can be resold with dangerous consequences both medically and legally for the public and the DNM community.

At least, make these requirements for the opioid submarkets at first (their "categories" on the sites). Then, maybe induct more of the drug categories into this new program. I think the cannabis industry would immensely benefit from some accountability to the consumers, and the DNMs would be a great place to make these changes. A lot of these "strains" and even the very concept of sativa/indica, is unscientific and just a marketing trick. So it's not just the opioid scene, but the ODs you see are probably the most dramatic contemporary example you can point out of this stuff.

I would do this because the US opioid scene is getting repetitive arrests of vendors, big vendors, which is scary and will result in big problems. The current system on the DNMs is not working, and I think a coherent plan is necessary. Rather than trying to push the issue under the rug, but still allow it to be discussed/traded/etc under unclear and gray circumstances...well, we should have a bold new plan, unique to our approach to everything about drug prohibition, which will actually resolve the worst of the problem.

/u/duckduckcop · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

Or, if you keep fentanyl banned on these sites.... ban most of the opioid trade under that existing policy. Because all those affordable M30s and other presses and "china white" and "heroin" and more is by and large laced with synthetics under spurious circumstances, this bust unfortunately being a great example of that.

I think, well, that it's time to make a decision. Bring this trade out of the gray zone, or totally remove it from the sites.

But know that removing it, will just push people back to the streets, and away from this kind of revolutionary project. Plus, another website will probably just take the place of these types of projects, doing the exact thing I outlined here. Why? Because opioids are now some of the most popular drugs in America. It wasn't the same just a few years ago-- the pandemic changed a lot, but the momentum and growth of this market was already there beforehand. We are in a new "crack epidemic" type situation.

I know I want the DNMs to be part of the situation, because I want to see a functional approach to public health that isn't what we did for covid; statist lockdowns, disempowerment of the people, medicalization and misery for the masses. But the question is, are the people organizing the DNM scene, having both the interest and capacity to implement this? So far, I'm not sure what the answer will be, but if this generation of DNM admins and moderators and users and vendors is not able to implement this, I think and I even feel confident that the next one will get something like this together, because this is the only way forward that doesn't involve the creation of an essentially totalitarian future; police states, forced treatment, gang wars, and all the worst shite you can imagine.

We can be the change. I really believe we can.

But do we want to be?

Investigation into Online Drug Vendor Illuminates Counterfeit Pill Danger

November 21, 2022 @ FBI.gov

Suspect in Los Angeles was allegedly manufacturing and shipping large quantities of fake pills and other dangerous drugs

The user will think they’re taking a Percocet or Adderall that they purchased from a social media contact or a local dealer—or maybe it was handed to them by a friend.

But the pill is far more likely to be something manufactured in a location like the one agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and FBI recently uncovered in an Inglewood, California, basement.

There, giant pill presses spit out thousands of convincing counterfeit drugs. A video of the presses in action shows the drugs are being created in what is far from a quality-controlled setting. Powder flies everywhere as the pills drop into plastic five-gallon buckets. Because the pills contain powerful drugs like methamphetamine and the synthetic opioid fentanyl, it's immediately apparent why these drugs are so dangerous.

According to the DEA, two milligrams of fentanyl is a potentially lethal dose. Two milligrams looks like a few grains of salt.

Because of the largely erratic production methods in these pill press operations, the amount of the powerful drug will vary from pill to pill.

These differences can mean life or death for the user. “These people are not sitting there measuring the amount of fentanyl in each pill,” said FBI Special Agent Tiana Kostic, who led the investigation as part of a team out of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office. “One pill may not kill someone, but the next one might.”

She said that on the online marketplaces in which these drugs are sold, they may be described as “pressed” versions of prescription drugs, pressed Oxycontin for example. The more experienced buyers on illicit marketplaces may know what this means, but most users don’t, she said. “It is the less experienced user, someone buying through a local source, who thinks they are getting a prescription pill.”

Fake pills, like the ones manufactured in that basement, are one of the drivers of a growing and alarming number of overdose deaths in the United States. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, deaths caused by synthetic opioids like fentanyl increased to 71,238 in 2021, up from an already staggering 57,834 in 2020. Deaths linked to methamphetamine use are also on the rise.

Several students within the Los Angeles Unified School District have died from fentanyl poisoning since the beginning of the school year. Many of those victims are believed to have consumed drugs they thought were pharmaceuticals.

A Los Angeles-based DEA special agent who investigated this case said she also investigates overdose deaths—and, recently, a lot of overdose deaths among young people. “What I’m seeing is the kids are taking the one blue pill or even half of the blue pill, and it’s an instant overdose,” she said.

Two Investigations Focus in on One Prolific Dealer

Darknet sites require a specialized browser called Tor to view. Clearnet sites are available on any connected device.

Their joint work, and months of investigative efforts by FBI, DEA, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and Homeland Security Investigation teams, eventually led to six search warrants being carried out on the same early November morning. Partnerships among agencies are crucial to the success of these complex investigations and were the primary reason the Department of Justice created the Joint Criminal and Opioid Darknet Enforcement (JCODE) Team in 2018.

Altogether, investigators found six pill presses; 10 weapons, including one that had been modified to function as an automatic weapon; bundles of cash; and approximately 450 pounds of illegal drugs, which included tens of thousands of pills, powdered fentanyl, marijuana, mushrooms, heroin, and other substances that still need to be identified.

Many of the pills were the so-called "rainbow pills" that investigators believe are created to market to young people. They are often sold on popular social media platforms.

While searching the location believed to be the primary suspect's residence, investigators also found packaging materials, heat sealers, and the computers and phones he used to run his active online business. One computer was left open.

“We were able to get a pretty comprehensive buyer list, which included approximately 2,200 unique buyer names for a total of over 4,000 sales,” said FBI Los Angeles Supervisory Special Agent Andrew Innocenti.

Agents are now looking into those leads because many of the buyers were ordering large quantities of drugs, indicating that they may be reselling. They are also tracking down any deaths associated with the drug buys.

“We are actively investigating whether drugs supplied by this vendor resulted in any overdose deaths,” said Innocenti. “If you are shipping drugs in the mail, you should know you are responsible for the people who are dying from them.”

Nathan Cocklin, the head of the FBI Hi-Tech Organized Crime Unit and the Bureau's JCODE team lead, believes this to be the largest seizure of drugs from an online drug marketplace in the five-year history of the JCODE program by far.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, along with the federal and local law enforcement agencies, announced charges against the primary suspect in the case at a press conference today. Prosecutors expect to announce charges against additional subjects in the coming weeks and months.

The other goal of publicizing the case is to show the American public the source of this deadly drug supply so they better understand the risk. The DEA agent on the case also urged parents to have frank conversations with their children about the danger these pills present.

In the video it cuts to a clip of math he was writing out on scratch paper. This motherfucker is doing long form multiplication to solve 32 x 10 and 310 x 2 lmao. He had to write that shit out and work through it step by step order of operations style.

As long as he came to the correct answer I don't see a problem with that method.

/u/glownigger123 · 2 votes · 4 months ago · Link

It is moronic.

If you want to multiply something by 10, add a 0 to the end.

If you want to multiply something by 2 and the leading digits are below 5, then just double them. 3*2 = 6, 1*2 = 2, therefore 310*2 = 620

An elementary school child would know this and it wouldn't even be taught to them. These are things you learn to do instantly in your head as you go along.

Sure, that's true. If this guy can only do it the way he does it and comes up with the right answer then good on him for at least being able to do it.

Despite making >$1 million in revenue, he is not a math wiz. From The Washington Examiner:

Hampton even videotaped himself making drugs, holding a large bag of blue powder.

“I got the powder for the blues today, too. You use one-tenth of this, so if you’re doing 10 grams, you do 10 grams of the other stuff and 1 gram of [this],” Hampton instructed an associate.

During February 2022, Hampton made more than $1 million in drug sales, the indictment said. An assistant was hired at $5,000 a month to handle the volume of sales.

“It’s simple…Pkg and dropping letters off at blue box usps Don’t even go inside,” Hampton texted the worker.

Much of what Hampton learned was gleaned from the Quora research website, but he also had questions about law enforcement.

The topics he asked about included, “What is a typical shift like for a big city cop, for example an officer in the LAPD?” and “If I was being hunted by the US Marshals, the FBI, the DEA and the ATF, how could I keep from getting caught?”

Undercover federal agents began contacting Hampton on Tor and made purchases in February and May, including one buy that was 102 grams of pure methamphetamine, the indictment said.

During that time, Hampton appeared to be increasingly paranoid about getting caught and asked a series of questions like, “Can FBI or CIA track your messages from your phone?” and “What are the telltale signs of an undercover FBI agent?”

I can confirm they will come knock on your door, even if you weren't buying Fent and something else like xanax. I had two D.E.A agents show up to a drop with no warrant, more to get a read on you a peek around. I told them a bs story and that people had been known to use my address. This was with Pharmamaster (The first true clean house bust) 2017ish was buying real xanax bc dude had it, but because he was so sloppy and my info was stored the D.E.A had know way of knowing, so they probably hit up every other person on his list. I just gave them permission, and my mom helped hide most of the weed I had at the time in the back yard wooshed. They came in, did a walk through and found all sorts of weed and pipes etc. The one agent said to me, "Son you need to get your life together, we aren't here for the weed, we're here for the FENT". Since I honestly wasn't fucking with it I had no issues, they just gave me there card and said they would be watching me. Ive been using this drop all the damn time since then.

But real talk from someone whose been through it, if dude was moving that much FENT and candy kid bullshit (Fuck him hope he rots hate fent dealers) then you WILL get a knock on the door, sooner for bigger cities, later if your in the woods.

Good luck bros! Stop fucking with that shit.

if I am just an addy press junkie who used this guy to get through grad school, how do I go about proving that if/when i get a knock on the door? do i deny being a power user too? really not trying to catch a case, and will likely faint if a see a cop at my door. any advice appreciated.

/u/moneymaintance20 · 2 votes · 4 months ago · Link

If your seriously that worried clean house and if your questioned deny and ask for an attorney... You never bought anything, no you don't use drugs, and lastly what is TOR, play stupid and lawyer up if its that serious.... But for real if you were only buying addys for personal use i don't think you'll be of much interest to them. They want the people buying weight from him and reselling!

/u/ExpiredCAPTCHA · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

digitally speaking, what would cleaning house look like? Factory reset of laptop, and moving shit like GPG keyring to persistent storage on tails? I can't afford to toss my laptop. I really wasnt trying to fuck with tails because of how time consuming it is considering i only buy for myself. But now I feel like my hand is forced.

/u/Preview-Of-Freedom Confirmed market vendor · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

digitally cleaning house as you put it would mean to physically remove any associated devices with your dnm activities from your home. this is why it is important to have a dedicated burner device to do biz on. when you remove any associated devices from your home and you are left with normal devices you look normal to any partys that would ever investigate you if they had a search warrant.

/u/Vendors_Little_Helper · 2 votes · 4 months ago · Link

Deny everything! Better yet don't talk to LE without an attorney.

I hope you know that those Addy presses are just meth tablets.

/u/LexxxLoud · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

Try to stay calm, if they come to your home deny everything and as they say hire a lawyer, although if you bought in higher quality hide it in a very far away place where only you know where it is, if it was a small amount I don't think the police will force you to go to rehab.

/u/ExpiredCAPTCHA · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

at what point can I stop worrying about it? if that makes sense. a year? 2?

/u/Bookedouxxx · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

No, you don't deny.

You don't say ANYTHING without an attorney. A denial is just a confession... something, something....

/u/Xansexual_Maniac · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

They're not going to come knocking unless you were buying 1k+ at a time & even then probably not. I came to comment though to NOT deny what you are being accused of if an officer shows up and accuses you of anything.

Say nothing. Do nothing. Be silent. Do NOT deny what they are saying. Don't confirm it. Simply give them nothing to go off of.

I already knew was gonna happen after almost everyone it seemed had packs seized from him all around the same time. It was no coincidence and a lot of people including me mysteriously had packs held up at the post office waiting to be picked up after already saying out for delivery. When the feds have you as one of their #1 targets and you still continue to operate at such a large scale its pretty much guaranteed that you will be caught. The best opsec is to avoid popping up on their radar at all

Called this many times if you look at my history. This guy was way too fast and loose. Horrible opsec. Just a disorganized mess. That’s why I never ordered. Sorry to hear. Hope all is well.

/u/1Royalfuckup · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

MAN that is pretty scary. I only dealt with him once thankfully. Got some H and it was so stupid strong. I knew about his test results that looked good and all, but it sure seemed fenty to me. I've never knowingly taken fent, so take that with a grain of salt I guess, but it was ridiculously strong and not in a real good way. Knocked me down every time lol. Anyway I saw about a week ago he had 3.5g of H up for $200 and I was like damn that's a good deal and almost went for it. I am so. glad. i didn't!

Stay safe ya'll!

Do you suppose that Law Enforcement might, just might figure out that the easy way to catch someone selling drugs from a dark net market is to just order something several times from the same vendor and follow the bread crumbs back to the location he is buying his postal service from? .....

and

Do you suppose that sooner or later as they order pack after pack of that incriminating illegal items from the vendor that the odds are sooner or later they are bound to catch a finger print, or a hair or other DNA evidence from the package.....?

and

Do you suppose that as soon as they figure out who that vendor is, they pull every resource at their disposal and start to track every single express postal package that he purchases along with getting warrants to tap all his isp traffic?.....

and

Do you think they also would collect all that data from all the packages to the people he would send those things too?

Naw......

Law Enforcement would never be that clever....if is just a fluke that Big Fish get caught from a lake, there is no such thing as a smart fisherman.

Much Love

> It is worth noting that his Dread account has had no activity since even the weeks prior to his bust. So this is not an effective way of determining if LE has access...

I think it is important to lock everything down automatically. It should be standard practice on all DNMs and our forums too, that accounts self-lock after 5-10 days of inactivity (like a canary, but automated), or upon activation of a "panic button" functionality inside the account, and that our accounts use networks to share this info quickly with admins and systems which are in our networks.

This would be very good for our community's opsec as a whole. I think the more we start thinking of things that way, the stronger we will all be.

/u/darkaura · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

This question may be annoying to some. I did read the whole thread.

Before anyone calls me an idiot, I know it already. Was new to DNMs and fucked up.

I placed two orders with my name and address without encryption on Bohemia. Only one showed up and the other one was never mailed out.

This must've been exactly the time his operation shut down since one was sent and then he went missing despite both being marked as shipped.

The one that showed up was one gram of those F#### products, assuming fent and/or similar analogs (I have a stupid high tolerance). The other unshipped one was regular H.

Should I be worried? I do place quite a bit of orders (one average, maybe twice a week). One from another vendor that was an express order actually said out for delivery after being held up quite a bit, then back to the post office, then back out for delivery. This was maybe a month ago.

Should I be worried with these two events (unencrypted address sent to Narco, and weird express mail activity)? If so, what should I do?

Do they have the right to enter my house based off of this? Do I remove all drugs? Smash my laptop into pieces?

I'm just a heavy user, but not a seller. The most I've ever bought is 50 M30s (got ripped off by SMACKERS, they were bunk).

I have a another package that, based off of Informed Delivery, is about to be shipped out to the same name and address.

God help me.

Sucks to hear, but man... he kept taking orders for weeks after arrested. Was he just trying to take as much money as he could before disappearing?

/u/Bookedouxxx · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link

" he kept taking orders for weeks after arrested"

That's not how that happens. Put down the pipe and go to bed - you're drunk.

/u/maziac2170 · 0 votes · 4 months ago · Link

Ohhh, wait... yeah. That might be a *doink* moment on my part. If he was arrested, his listings were still up and not much he could do about it. I gotcha, I take back what I said above then.
