User discussion about the DNMs and Vendors.

I believe as anyone whos been involved with DNM over the years or read anything *at alll* about CD's and busts over poor shipping knows how important it is when choosing how to send/receive your drugs. I don't believe im wrong on this anyways....
Soooo here's the situation,
I ordered some distillate from a vendor on AlphaBay called /u/innocentextracts(banned now?) , as he had a special going on , 1 to 3 ML distillate syringe , with free shipping, and being the bargain hunter i am, I decided to do some research, see he had only 3 or 4 neg reviews in the past and it wasn't much money so why not huh?At some point we all have to make that leap, for good or ill...
Wellllll about 10 days go by and I see nothing on ID(though since its intl. i don't worry, that's pretty much par for the yewsh) but I do my due diligence and drop a message asking if He can confirm its sent, after 2 days i get a message ,asking for my address again
...a bit peeved i send it, and ask again ,can you confirm its sent out?
after no reply I tell him ill be forced to leave review as Ive already finalized if he cant send tracking, or at the very least say hes sent it! ,as I see that he does indeed offer tracking after a period of time (which had long passed) and so after 2 more days he finally responds with a tracking number.
And when i check that tracking number, i find that not only had my pack not been sent out til 15 days AFTER it was accepted on the market, but to my surprise its a Registered Mail Delivery,Tracking and Signing on Delivery of all possible delivery methods....
Not only is this shipping method completely inadvisable by anyone who's sending or receiving drugs as it identifies BOTH parties ,but is also considerably more expensive option then what he was supposed to send it in...
So am I crazy and it was an honest mistake?or was this all some more vindictive fuck you , as I did end up leaving my honest review before I couldn't leave one at all.
IDK Mannnnnn. Super troll move tho if it was purposeful,as if its not delivered to me, its got a return to sender service apparently.(not that hell prolly use it...but then again who knows)
SUS or NAH?

<3 hahahah look at you assigning purpose to my life , you lovely little optimist~
we should have a group like that though. Could be useful if we have a dedicated few at least! imagine what we could do once recon is fully integrated with the markets!

Probably too paranoid. Get your shit, find another vendor in the future. Don't let it eat you up.

i will admit MC's coke's got me wired rn, but surely i cant sign for it? That would be retarded should it be a setup....i do happen to be just about out of bud and bud related products though, so my impulse control is thrashin at the bit lol

I personally would not sign for it, and would look at burning the address going forward, but I am cautious and it's not hard to find a new address you can use.

i do like to mainly take my legal advise from doubly semi-aquatic law enforcement officers over the darknet,
burning seems dramatic unless i get some sketchy packs or uncomfortable visits or questionings, but nah im not risking my addy and freedom over a workdays worth of money

Lol. Look I'm just saying, my two cents? It's not something worth risking to pick up, even if it's a lot of money. You should never spend on a DNM more money than you can afford to walk away from if it doesn't feel right. Feel free to do whatever you want, but in my opinion it's trivial to setup a new drop, and I like to do so on a regular basis.

If it gets returned to sender, one of two things happens.
1. it's a real return address and whoever gets it will open it and call the cops when they find drugs
2. it's a fake address and the pack goes to dead letter office where it is opened and handed over to USPIS for investigation. Being your address is the only valid address, that's where they start.
Now say in #1 you get lucky and the recipient likes drugs or just throws them away, then you are fine. All other options pretty much burns your address.
Signing, in and of itself, is not an admission of guilt. If it is your normal postal worker delivering it then it is not a CD.

Well i got lucky i guess, turns out he sent me a random tracking number he probably stole off someones comment on a website from the country hes in, as after it made it through customs it was delivered to a completely different side of my country this morning.now whats your opinion on missing mail requests?
/u/samwhiskey MOD · 1 votes · 4 months ago · Link
Well now, you'd think it would go to the local postal supervisor to check out but I'm pretty sure missing mail is the area of responsibility of postal inspectors (you know, the postal law enforcement).
Personally, I don't think I'd put in a missing mail request on a darknet package.

I remember a lot a intl had to be signed for years ago and had to get a lot of registered mail for intl packs but this was years and years ago pre dread and it was for acid so a lot less in transit seizure risk. This was before XMR was widely used and stamps were more common then label printers (I feel old) so OPSEC has changed since then but i haven't got an intl pack in years or even been a customer in years so Im not sure the current practice. But it used to be common i think. It kind of makes a difference but realistically idk where you are but 9/10 it wouldn't get as far as a CD or surveillance just for a small thing of weed in the states. Theyd just throw it out if they knew anything. But i do think not shipping it for 15 days thats just straight bs. Stick to your in person clients if that's how u do bushiness. The DNM are for professionals. And professionals have standards

in my experience post-covid a lot of "signature required" mail just gets left if the person isn't there. i had a (legal!) delivery worth close to $4k that i specifically asked for a signature on in case someone in my building got curious & they just left it there anyway.
that said, some carriers will go the extra mile to try to track you down for a signature. in your place i'd just pretend not to be home & see what they do. chances are they'll leave it.
