What best defines passive-aggresive behavior

by /u/brewho · 1 votes · 2 months ago

Is it not pretending things are alright momentarily and attacking a deadly blow shortly afterwards? I feel it normally looks like big fish picks on little fish and little fish picks on littler fish. Your boss yells at you, you beat your wife, she beats her kids. Props to those who fight the bigger dog. seems like it's a doggy dog world more than something to do with being direct. Does anyone care about the first 6 amendments? I couldn't say it wasn't a military compound where they take the talking points from their superiors in a hierarchy fashion for when they are told to speak. There's no correlation between a free society and the rights they neglect to protect.

Don't know what is passive about the aggression you reference.

There's no correlation between passive aggressive behavior and big fish picking on smaller fish which is overtly aggressive behavior.

"passive aggression" is a clumsy term meaning sulking, avoiding, ostracising, and blanking, and generally acting like a teenager or a woman, advertising your displeasure with someone or their behaviour by theatrical stubbornness. Beating someone tends to be an effective way of ending a bout of passive aggression. Passive aggression is NOT "pretending things are alright, then attacking".
