What is wrong with Australia?

by /u/suchegoldcards · 4 votes · 1 month ago

Encryption illegal.

Violent games banned.

Drugs highly controlled.

LEA can legally commit crime.

WHAT THE FUCK? Of course, this doesn't go against the US agenda, so no problems there.

I'm sorry for all my Australian folks. I don't understand how can you stand this.

They're upside down so their world will be opposite to ours.

I live in this beutiful free country, true their are some ridiculous laws and rules we need to follow.

We have to obtain a new application and licence for each firearm we purchase. The paperwork takes about 2 months to go through the system and you have to jump through hoops to obtain any rifle, same laws apply for an air rifle!!

No handguns unless your a member of a gun club and attend x amout of meets a year and are considered suitable by the other members, who are usually fucking weirdo's.

Drug sentences are a joke as well. Traffickable charges, not just possesion for anything over 3 grams (coke, meth, smack)

If your smart, keep a low profile and have some education and knowledge regarding LE you can live a relative stress free existence.

Of course Lady Luck plays a big part, but their is a saying that you make your own luck.

Other than the negatives, I wouldnt want to live anywhere else in the world. If your an outdoorsy type then we have thhe most beutiful, isolated beaches in the world that often dont have another soul to be seen so you have it all to your self.

We have sensational bush areas thatt blow your mind, waterholes in the middle of no where that you can camp at, have a bbq, go fishing, shoot a kangaroo for a camp oven stew and just chill the fuck out with not a soul to be seen.

Saying all that, as an avid gunja smoker for 35 out of the last 50 odd years, I find these laws ridiculous. We are so far behind other countries its a fucking joke, for fucks sake, it grows in the ground and no one has ever died from it. This is a reason I would think about living elswhere, like somewhere in Canada or the US but unfortunatly the cook and the kids dont share my passion !!

Nevermind. Don't want to discuss politics online.

Hopefully this post won't create some heated discussions. I'm just trying to understand, how come is this all tolerated by the Aussies? I for one, wouldn't want to live in such country. What's the matter with the govt there. It's really strange. Same with New Zealand. It's a pity. Beautiful country, ruled by criminals.

Or do some people think this is a good thing? Is there some added benefit to it that I don't see?

They have the same fundamental type of evil government as every other country. The Australian cabinet just turns the shit fan to 11.

Plus they have to deal with /u/FUDPolice. You know how bad that is! :p
